From the moment we stepped inside, the fresh scent and attention to detail made us feel at home. A generous food hamper greeted us, filled with top-quality items, including M&S products. The lodge had everything we needed, from luxurious soft towels to a powerful shower and a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine. The hosts thought of everything, even providing a doggy pack for our furry friend. The location was perfect, with a great outdoor space for the kids to play, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We couldn't have asked for more.

The view from the patio doors could have been better, but when everything else was so exceptional, it was a minor inconvenience. The lodge's proximity to the road meant some traffic noise, but the sound insulation was impressive.

We had a fantastic stay at The Lodge, where the owners went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and at home. The lodge was exceptionally clean and well-decorated, with all the necessary amenities and even added touches like luxury soft towels and a power shower. The fully-equipped kitchen had top-quality M&S items, including a washing machine with supplied pods. The hosts were always available and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location was also great for exploring the surrounding area.

The worst aspect of our stay was the lack of communication regarding certain facilities. We were disappointed to find out upon arrival that the swimming pool and gym were closed during our stay.

The location was perfect for exploring the local area and the staff treated me like a VIP, checking in to make sure everything was okay.

I did experience a minor setback during my stay when the wifi went off after a couple of days due to a mast fault. However, this was out of the host's control, and they did their best to resolve the issue.
